Privacy Policy

Cluzio has no accounts and no servers of its own. Your puzzle progress stays on your device and we never see it.

The app does show optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob and, in regions where Google does not serve ads, through the Yandex Advertising Network. These ad networks collect data to deliver the ads. That is the only way any information leaves your phone.

1. Who we are

Cluzio is a crossword game published by SolTok. You can reach us at solntok0@gmail.com with any question about this policy or about your data.

2. What stays on your device

The app saves your progress in your device's local app storage. This includes your coin balance, which levels you have unlocked and completed, your daily challenge streak and best streak, the topic and level you last opened, your chosen language, and your chosen visual theme.

None of this is sent anywhere. There is no account to create, no login, no cloud sync, and no server operated by us. Because it is stored only on your device, uninstalling the app deletes all of it permanently — we cannot restore it for you.

3. Advertising

Cluzio offers optional rewarded video ads: you may choose to watch one in exchange for in-game coins. Nothing in the game requires you to watch an ad. These ads are served by two ad networks:

To show and measure ads, the ad network collects information from your device. This typically includes your device's advertising identifier, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your device model and operating system, and records of which ads were shown, viewed or tapped. The ad network uses this to select ads, to measure their performance and to detect fraud and invalid traffic.

Each ad network acts as an independent data controller for this information — it decides how that data is used, and we do not receive it. We see only anonymous, aggregated counts of ads shown and the resulting revenue, with nothing that identifies any individual. Their own policies explain their handling in full:

4. Your choices about ads

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before it loads any ads, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You can decline personalised ads, and the game remains fully playable either way. The choice you make there applies to both ad networks — the app passes it on to Yandex as well.

You can change that choice at any time: open the menu, tap the settings icon to open the About screen, and choose Ad privacy settings. The same consent form reopens and your new choice replaces the old one.

Independently of the app, your device gives you control over the advertising identifier itself. On Android this lives in Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset the identifier or delete it entirely. On iPhone and iPad the app asks for permission before it can use the identifier at all; you can change that answer later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

5. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for personalised advertising and for any storage of or access to information on your device that is not strictly necessary. Where you decline, ads may still be served on a non-personalised basis, and the ad networks rely on their legitimate interest in preventing fraud and in measuring delivery. You may withdraw consent at any time through Ad privacy settings, as described above; withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.

6. Children

Cluzio is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, please write to us and we will look into it.

7. How long data is kept

Game data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Data collected by the ad networks is retained according to their own retention policies, linked in section 3 — we have no control over it and no ability to delete it on your behalf.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side for us to hand over or erase — deleting the app removes everything the game stored. For data an ad network collected to serve ads, please exercise those rights with Google or Yandex directly, using the links in section 3.

9. Changes to this policy

If the app starts collecting data differently — for example if analytics are added — this page will be updated before that change ships, and the date at the top will tell you when it last changed.
